Well looks like I finally remembered the password to the website! Jokes aside there’s some exciting news for the start of 2026. For those who don’t know we are building a new store at the location we used to be at (36 Brock Street W.) At the time of writing we have had some great progress and now have our steel structure in place (it should be fairly quick from here and realistically will be moved before the end of the year – fingers crossed.) I will try to do some updates on the build and update when we are moving when we get there.

Now for the main reason for the post, we have got our first shipment of Brooks Running shoes for 2026. This shipment of Brooks comprises of trail/waterproof options which may not be the worst thing with how much snow there has been and how much rain there probably will be come springtime. Either way, here’s what came in:

Brooks Ghost Trail (Men’s and Women’s) – The Ghost Trail is a new style offered by Brooks and what’s cool about it is the cushion is the same as the regular Ghost 17 and an outsole that is great for cobblestone, trails and sidewalk (not a big lug sole which wears quicker on sidewalks and feels different.) At the moment there is no waterproof option available which for some cases is better since it will breath better and dry quicker when wet. The best part is (at least at the time of writing) the price is the exact same for the Ghost Trail and regular Ghost 17. Either way the Ghost Trail is a very practical shoe for Uxbridge and beyond!

Brooks Cascadia 19 + 19 GTX (Women’s) – The Cascadia is Brook’s main trail shoe, it has a very good traction sole and is a bit firmer than the Ghost Trail which means it will still work both pavement and trail but is more geared for trail running and light hiking where needed. We did bring in two version being the non Gore-Tex/waterproof and the vented since there is practicality to both.

Those were the styles for Brooks on this shipment which will always be smaller than March/April but as we get closer I will be posting about some new and exciting shoes!
