New Balance Spring 2026
It’s been a bit since we’ve given New Balance some love and for 2026 we’re making sure to represent them well on our wall! For this spring we’ve got in our hit of New Balance (for now just more of their running shoes but will be trying out some of the retro styles in the fall.)
Here’s what came in:
860V15 (Men’s and Women’s – $190+HST at time of writing.) – New Balance’s main stability shoe the 860 has just gotten an update (and an increase of price by $10 which I assume the other brands will probably follow suit in either the next season or year though we will see.) Either way, the new 860 is a massive change and in my opinion in a great way. The 860 V15 utilizes their new stability plane which acts similarly to a carbon plate but more durable and focusing more on correcting pronation. I did try them on and found them very comfortable and I’m excited to see what is to come in the next few versions.
880V15 (Men’s and Women’s – $190+HST at time of writing.) – The 880 is the neutral equivalent of the 860 (neutral being better for supinator’s or for people with a neutral gait.) We had the version 15 in the fall and found it was a good iteration but as with the new 860 still is very different from the past models (though again we feel that it is in a good way.) The price did increase on the 880 $10 as well.
1080V15 (Women’s – $220+HST at time of writing.) – The 1080 is one of the best shoes for people looking for a highly cushioned running shoe or for long distance walking. It offers more forefoot and heel cushioning than the 880 while being lighter. We found the version 14 was great and are excited to see how the new version stacks up once people start trying it more (we did only do women’s which was the same as the version 14 but we can get it in men’s where needed.) As with the 860 and 1080 looks like the 1080 also had a $10 increase in price.
Even though there has been some increases in price it does look like the shoes are improving given the increase. Either way we’re happy with the quality and support that the New Balance’s are offering and hope to see the trend of improvement continue with the New Balance shoes.
