Merrell Spring 2026
If the weather continues like today then the phrase April showers brings May flowers is going to be true. Speaking of weather we just got in our hit of Merrell shoes and sandals which for the shoe side we brought in some great trail/hiking shoes which will keep the feet dry and grip well.
Here’s what came in:
Nova 4 WP (Men’s – $179.95+HST at time of writing) – The Nova is a great option for people who want a shoe that is soft for sidewalk/road wear and good traction for trail/light hiking purposes. The upper is nylon with a waterproof membrane so it is still breathable but light and softer than leather.
MOAB 3 WP & MOAB 3 MID WP (Men’s – $179.95+HST & $199.95+HST at time of writing) – The MOAB or as I’m calling it the mother of all boots (not sure if that’s what the actual name is supposed to be but I’m running with it) has been an excellent shoe/boot that has versatility for all year wear. It features a nice Vibram sole that takes plenty of walking on all types of surfaces. The upper is a blend of mesh and leather that is waterproof and good for pretty well year round use (of course in the winter it doesn’t have a specific winter sole but in fair weather works well.)
Siren Edge 3 WP (Women’s – $169.95+HST at time of writing) – Just as the MOAB has been shoe we try to carry all the time for year round use the Siren Edge is our equivalent for women’s. The Siren Edge does use nylon instead of the leather but uses Vibram sole for good year round wearability.
Antora 4 (Women’s – $159.95+HST at time of writing) – The Antora is a great shoe that is light-weight, good traction and very breathable. For this year we decided to bring it in the non-waterproof (mostly to get a nicer colour) but there are options that are waterproof in the Antora if needed. it shares a similar sole to the Men’s Nova and we’ve found it works really well for an all-rounder that works well as a three-season shoe (without the waterproof it will be cooler in the summer and fair weather.)
Encore Breeze 5 (Women’s – $124.95+HST at time of writing) – The Encore Breeze is a neat shoe for the summer since it is slip-on that has a lower back, has a nice sole and arch support built in. We find that the Encore works great either as a house slipper for the summer since it is vented or works perfectly outdoors with the sole they use. There is the version that is made with leather and wool but it would probably be a bit hot for the summer.
District 4 Luxe Post (Women’s – $104.95+HST at time of writing) – The District 4 Luxe is a cute sandal with a toe-wrap design. Which for people who like between the toe but find the usual toe-thong a bit firm between the toes the wrap is a very soft nylon/canvas material that holds the foot well while not putting pressure. The arch is built up in a nice way that is also soft on the foot.
That should be all from Merrell until the fall (although as always we can special order where needed.)
