Ecco Spring-Summer 2026

Well it’s been a bit since I’ve made a post (aside from the Keen I just uploaded.) But we’ve been getting a bunch of different shoes from different brands all at the same time and just haven’t had the time to sit down and write about them. Either way, we’ve gotten our hit of Ecco shoes and sandals early which may not be the worst thing since we’ve been starting to get hints of spring and even summer (although not without the rollercoaster of hot to cold.)

Here’s what came in:

Soft 7 (Men’s and Women’s – $210+HST at time of writing) – The good ol’ Soft 7, for us one of our favourite casual shoes. What’s great is the Soft 7 uses a great quality leather and uses a design that can be dressed up or worn casually that is also timeless while being comfortable for all day wear.

Soft 7 Easy Slip (Lace/Slip on Men’s – $210+HST at time of writing) – Ecco last year (or year before) introduced the Easy Slip heel counter as an option. The Easy Slip is offered with laces for people who need to adjust (if you set the laces loose enough you should be able to step into them) or as a straight slip-on that uses a flexible elastic to accommodate people with higher in-steps.

Soft Street (Women’s – $160+HST at time of writing) – The Soft Street is a new style to us and gives an option that looks more like some of the retro sneakers while maintaining a comfortable footbed (they also make them in Men’s which I am currently trying which so far is pretty good.) Either way a great new addition for us since it gives us a style we don’t currently have and that is really in style for now.

Soft Sandal (Women’s – $160+HST at time of writing) – The Soft Sandal (I accidentally called it the Cross Sandal when I named it which is a better definition of how it looks.) My naming mistake aside the Soft Sandal is a great option for people who like the Ecco footbed in a sandal and want something nicer/dressier than the usual Offroad/Yucatan Sandal. It does have Velcro adjustment like the Yucatan and we brought it in 3 colours (all black, navy and a colour called Chili.)

Cozmo (Women’s – $140+HST at time of writing) – The Cozmo is a neat style since it gives us an option that is stylistically similar to the Birkenstock Arizona but has it differences. For one, it uses Velcro to adjust the straps rather than the buckle, the sole and arch support are a fair bit softer while still being supportive (for people who can’t wear the Birkenstocks they should be able to comfortably wear the Cozmo.) We’ve had the Cozmo before and it is also available in Men’s (though we only brought in the Women’s again for now.)

Yucatan/Offroad (Men’s & Women’s – $180+HST at time of writing) – The Offroad or as it used to be called the Yucatan is Ecco’s go to walking Sandal. What’s great about it is that the style is consistent and seems to very rarely change (great for people who have finally out-walked the sandal and want pretty well the same thing!) The Offroad has a great cushioned sole and amazing arch-support that isn’t too aggressive, it also has a nice soft neoprene upper (leather is on-top of the neoprene but the foot contact on top is all neoprene or a neoprene like substance.)

That’s all for Ecco until the Fall (or as far as I remember there being.) But for us what is great with Ecco is they consistently offer great shoes and don’t change the ones that work really well. Ecco also is a Danish company which given the broader shoe market is nice to have a European option other than the usual American brands.
