Cambrian is a Canadian footwear company founded in 1995. Cambrian offers orthopaedic designed shoes and sandals that have removable liners (insoles.)

Founded in 1963, Ecco is a Danish brand that focuses on premium footwear. Ecco offers an amazing outdoor sandal for people that find the birkenstocks to hard on their feet

Finn Comfort is a German brand founded in 1945 that makes high-end sandals and shoes with excellent arch support and fit.

Foamteads was founded by the same family that founded Sorel in Kitchener, Ontario. Foamtred makes warm slippers. Their slippers now offer a slipper with a removable insole if an arch-support is required.

Haflinger is a German brand founded in 1988. Their claim to fame is their wool slippers with cork-based arch support that works well as a house slipper or clog.

Hoka One-One is a French company founded in 2009. Hoka has created one of the most comfortable slide by adding the same level of cushion they do for their shoes for their slide

Founded in 2003, Keen has created one of the best versatile water/hiking sandal that protects the toe and is water-friendly

Founded in 1981, Merrell does a good mix of cushioned sandals with a top wrap and traditional sandals. Merrell also offers a great slip-on shoe that can be used as a slipper or outside shoe for summer or winter

NAOT is an Israeli shoe company that makes sandals and shoes that provide similar support to Birkenstock but some better styles and some with removable/replaceable insoles.

Olukai started in 2005 and takes a Hawaiian inspiration. Their sandals are great for the beach and give you a flip-flop with arch-support

Revere is Australian brand founded in 2012. They make a collection of casual to dress sandals and shoes that offer removal able insoles, Velcro adjustment and Velcro extensions.

UGG is a Californian brand founded in Australia in 1978. UGG has become a staple for slippers with their Tasman’s becoming popular in 2023. They also provide some great options for a clog.

Vionic was founded in 1979 by a podiatrist. Vionic offers sandals and shoes with proper arch-support. Vionic fits well and provides all-day comfort and is a nice blend of cushion and support.
