Start of September 2026 Shoe Info

Crazy to think it is already September but here we are! We’ve been busy with some kids shoes and a lot of adult shoes. Which means that I’m in need of some shoes and it just so happens that across August and starting in September I’ve got some good options.

Bleuforet – We got in our first hit of Bleuforet socks for the fall! This hit focuses more on cotton and we will have some Mariano Wool/warmer blends coming in October (I’ll either include it in a blanket post or individual.) Regardless, there was some fun animal patterns like the cats and the Dachshund there was also some really good running socks which give a little bit of height but is much shorter than hiking socks.

Brooks – Short and sweet, we’ve got some really great options like the Beast (Men’s) /Ariel 26 (Women’s both are $199.95+HST at time of writing) which is still a great stability shoe. More specific to the women’s side we also got in the Glycerin 23 GTS (209.95+HST at time of writing) which gives us an option for stability with lots of cushion. Finally we got in the new Ghost Max 4 (Again women’s only for now and retails at $189.95+HST at time of writing) we like the Gmax since it takes the ghost which is already a great shoe and blends a nice slightly firm but thicker sole into it.

Hoka – We’ve pretty well got most of what we need from Hoka but we did get some more Women’s Bondi 9 colours (Retail $199.95+HST at time of writing.) Aside from that we expect some more trail options to come in near the end of September to early October.

Kizik – Kizik has been great for us, step-in with support and so far it seems like they won’t be trying to fix something that isn’t broken. Speaking of which we got in the Athens 2 (Men’s and Women’s with a retail of $199.95+HST at time of writing.) For those who haven’t seen or tried the Athens what’s nice is that it does come with laces to adjust which means you can set them to be snug and slip in and out afterwards. The other model we got is the Freedom Run (Men’s and Women’s with a retail of $199.95+HST at time of writing.) The Freedom Run gives an option for people who want a step in with a bit more of a rocker and cushion. Either way we’ve been very happy with the fit and comfort of the Kizik’s and expect to get a few more options for those who want a hands free boot soon.

Saucony – For Saucony we got in the Guide 19 (Men’s and Women’s retail at $179.95+HST at time of writing.) The Guide is a nicely cushioned stability shoe that has done well for us, we expect there should be some more running shoes from then soon and a trail option soon.

Revere/Vionic – Last but not least we got in some nice casual/dress shoes for ladies which have some nice arch support on top of nice styles. For Revere we did get the Cancun which gives us an easy to work with Velcro shoe with a bit of style (Retail of $199.95+HST at time of writing.) For Vionic we got in two styles, the Walk Glide (Retail $174.95+HST at time of writing) which is a nice casual style that would be great for everyday since it has nice cushion and great arch. Finally we got in the Larissa (Retail $199.95+HST at time of writing) which is a small wedge ballet flat and a nice leather upper and the same great Vionic arch support.

Overall that’s a overview of what came in during August and some of the September options which we expect a fair bit more stuff during September which I will discuss as we get there.
