Hoka Spring 2026 Part 1
It’s time for some more shoes! We’ve got in some really cool shoes from Hoka and will be getting some more in March. In terms of these blog posts and the website, I am debating on the format and what to do moving forward (if I do decide to make a change I’ll make sure to include details in a future post.) Regardless here is what we got in this hit:
Hoka Speedgoat 7 [non-GTX] (Men’s and Women’s – $195 MSRP at time of writing): New Year, New Goat. Terrible joke aside we just got the new Speedgoat 7 which is a big change in terms of the look but otherwise keeps what the Speedgoat does best. Which is having a great Vibram sole and a great rocker that works good for offroad and can be used on-road. There is an option for GTX but we decided to bring in the non-GTX for the spring. I do personally like the look of the 7 and I’ve been only shortly trying it out in the black/white and it feels good.
Hoka Challenger 8 GTX (Men’s and Women’s – $200 MSRP at time of writing): Another new version for us, the Challenger got a new update which I like, the tread pattern is a bit more aggressive than the last and how the shoe fits seems to be better. Overall what I like about the Challenger is that it works very well for dual-purpose since it’s a bit softer and less aggressive for sidewalks while still being aggressive enough for trails and light-hikes. There is also a non-GTX version available but we decided to do GTX on this shoe (Gore-Tex which just means it’s waterproof.)
Hoka Transport 2 [non-GTX] (Women’s – $175 MSRP at time of writing): Last of the new styles for us this year. We’ve had the old Transport and it was a great little shoe since it has a low lug Vibram sole which is great for traction while not being as obstructive. The Transport also comes with a toggle or a lace for easy on and off. The new version 2 has a slightly different tread pattern but looks good regardless.
Hoka Clifton 9 GTX (Men’s and Women’s – $200 MSRP at time of writing): The Final style we brought in for this hit is the Clifton in Gore-Tex (GTX). The GTX version is based on the previous version of the Clifton (currently at time of writing we are at the Clifton 10.) But the version 9 and 10 have both been good with some differences. Regardless what’s great about the Clifton GTX is it gives a great amount of cushion and keeps the feet dry (great for running or walking on a rainy day or through dewy grass.)
That’s all for today and I’ll update when the next hit of shoes come in!
