Hoka Fall/Winter 2025 – Final
Well, we are at October already and for running shoes that means a bit of a break until the springtime (at least in what we book in advance.) For this time around we got in some cool shoes that would keep the feet dry and give some traction for the weather to come.
Here’s what we got:
Clifton 9 GTX (Men’s and Women’s): The Clifton is one of Hoka’s best overall shoes as it is slightly less thick than the Bondi and has Hoka’s great meta-rocker. Having the Gore-Tex only makes it better since it keeps the feet dry while still breathing well (for some people it does make it a bit warmer for summer but for most is comfortable for year round wear.)
Challenger 7 GTX (Men’s and Women’s): For people that need a shoe that has a bit more traction than regular running shoes but don’t want an aggressive hiker the Challenger gives a good blend between cushion and grip. We did the Gore-Tex as well for the same reason as the Clifton.
Transport Hike GTX (Men’s and Women’s): The Transport for us has been a great all-rounder shoe and Hoka has taken it and done a spin where it gives a more hiking friendly shoe from them. Which for people where Hoka’s have been the most comfortable gives them an options that is great for off the road and could be used as a light-winter boot if need be.
Overall, we love how Hoka has taken shoes and done a spin on them that focuses on comfort and support that gives us options that are very practical for Uxbridge and our climate in Ontario as a whole!
