Bogs BOGA – Spring 2026
With the start of spring being here proper the thought of summer is starting to come in and for us we’ve got a great option from Bogs. The Boga is a newer model (I believe it launched in the fall of 25′) that is a EVA clog that gives us an option with a more structure and density than something like the Crocs (I’ll explain in a bit.) EVA is the material that the majority of the running shoes are using for the midsole of the shoe which is a good material to use here (I know the Hoka slide uses it as well and the Birkenstock EVA’s do, but a lot of it is in how firm or soft they blend it.)
There are some cool features on the adults like a removable insoles that gives a lot of the cushioning, is denser than the rest of the clog which allows for the structure while still maintaining cushion. The removable insole does allow for easier cleaning and replacement if needed (I don’t believe Bogs sell replacement insoles but technically there are options.) The outer-sole has some rubber to allow for better grip in wet conditions and the final thing that applies for both kids and adults is that the strap has a clip on the top so it won’t let the strap fling around if it isn’t being used as a backstrap. Overall, just in my testing I found that the Boga is comfortable as a house slipper and I will be wearing it more outside once we are in summer weather.
