Asics Spring 2026
Just got to start off by saying that I really like some of the colour options that Asics offered this year. Regardless, we got in our spring hit of Asics shoes which does include a top up of new colours for kids and adults. For the Adults we focused on the Gel-Kayano 32 ($219.95+HST at time of writing) and the Gel-Nimbus 28 ($209.95+HST at time of writing.) We had the Gel-Kayano 32 in the fall and found it still remains one of our favourite stability shoes since it balances a thicker sole with a good dense cushion base (it also has a great stability system and the Gel in the heel and forefoot.) The Nimbus 28 is a new version (not exactly sure on when it launched but as far as I’m aware it is a spring update.) They are still keeping the sole on the very thick side but it does feel like the compound got a bit denser than the 27 which with the thickness again is not a bad thing.
On the kids side we got in the GT-1000 14 GS ($99.95+GST at time of writing) for both boys and girls which is one of the only stability shoes offered for kids (other than like the kids New Balance 860 but there aren’t as many stability shoes offered for kids as adults.) The colours are really cool, especially the all black with blue and yellow just pops in person. The other shoe we did was the Tri-Noosa 16 GS & PS ($94.95+GST and $84.95+GST at time of writing) for girls (will do boys for the fall, just had hesitation with the boys colour for the spring.) The Tri-Noosa is one of the most cool and fun looking shoes that also has great cushion and structure for kids.
Overall, we are happy with the direction Asics is going and will look forward to bringing a lot more options in terms of colour for kids and adults (especially when we go to the new location and can change up how we display the shoes.)
