Brooks Spring 2026 Part 2
We’ve finally made the realisation that only offering neutral colour shoes are boring. Jokes aside we’ve got in some great shoes from Brooks in some fun colours for the spring and coming summer (I’ll just take the fact we’re not in negative temperature now.) As far as I know this should be our main spring hits from Brooks and we will have more coming ~July for different colours in the Ghost. Either way as always if there is something we don’t have but can get then we can always look into it
Here’s what came in:
Ghost 17 (Men’s and Women’s – $179.95+HST at time of writing) – We focused on the most variety for colour in the ghost since it is one of the best all-rounded shoes. It works great for running, walking or just everyday use. It takes orthotics or arch-support insoles well and works great for neutral gaits or supinator’s since it is a good soft-cushion that isn’t too soft (sometimes if a sole gets to soft it starts to loose support or wear out quicker.)
Adrenaline 25 GTS (Men’s and Women’s – $179.95+HST at time of writing) – I’m fairly certain I already went over the new Adrenaline but if I didn’t then the new Adrenaline is nice. The Adrenaline in essence is similar to the ghost in terms of sole thickness and fit but has the guiderail for people who need medial support or pronate to overpronate. The new Adrenaline features a nicely padded heel-counter that has a great pull loop to make it easier to put them on. Overall, I like the new version while there are changes it definitely is in a good direction.
Glycerin 23 GTS (Men’s and Women’s – $209.95+HST at time of writing) – The Glycerin is a great shoe overall for people who want a bit more cushion that is also softer than the Ghost/Adrenaline (there is a version of the glycerin without the GTS but we did it for this season with.) The new version comes with that new heel-counter like the new Adrenaline 25 and the midsole has been blended very well (great balance of soft cushion with good support.)
Ghost Max 3 (Men’s and Women’s – $189.95+HST at time of writing) – The Ghost Max is one of Brook’s options for a thick sole. It does feature a 6mm drop which is a departure from the other shoes that Brooks does but gives a great option for people who need more padding throughout the foot. The other two things great with the Ghost Max 3 is that while the sole is thicker it’s a fairly dense blend meaning that it has great stability and the shoe is fairly straight lasted (meaning it doesn’t have as much of a curve at the toe, giving more room at the end of the toe-box for all toes.)
Ariel & Beast 26 (Men’s and Women’s – $199.95+HST at time of writing) – There is now a new version of the Ariel/Beast. First impressions, it’s a good shoe and has more stability than the Adrenaline+Glycerin but the sole in the new Beast/Ariel definitely is softer than the V24 which as long as they don’t further soften the midsole I don’t think there will be any issues.
Either way, I think for the most part Brooks has done a good job with the new version this year and I look forward what’s going to come in the next couple years since it seems like the thicker sole/softer sole design is going to stick around.
