Aloha, it’s time to talk Olukai and we are experimenting with some new styles for this fall. Specifically, we have brought in some of their slippers for the fall which can work either in the house or out and about! What we have been loving with Olukai is that they are easy to get on quickly and have nice arch supports that come with the shoes or their sandals for the spring.

Here’s what came in:

Huia (Womens): The Huia has been a great shoe for us that looks a bit more athletic while not having the very thick soles that the running shoes have been trending towards. It also has the wet grip rubber sole which makes it practical for year round wear.

Lae’Ahi Li ‘Ili (Mens): The Lae is an amazing shoe that is both a nice clean casual look and giving the support and comfort that all the Olukai Shoes have. The other cool part of the Lae is that it is a lace shoe with the drop down heel. Meaning the shoe can be worn like a slipper or like a regular lace shoe.

Nohea Moku (Mens): The Nohea Moku is a mesh shoe that has an elasticized lace for easy slip-on ability, it fits very well in the width and has that nice well-rounded arch support that all of the Olukai’s have.

Moloa Slipper (Mens): As the name suggests Moloa is a slipper and what is great about the Moloa is that it uses a premium leather on the upper, has a sole that can be used either indoor or outdoor and is lined on the inside for shearling for temperature regulation for either indoor or outdoor wear.

Ku’u (Mens): The Ku’u is another new slipper for us and what is nice about the Ku’u is that it is more of an open-back which gives a quick and easy option for slipping on or keeping by the bed-side. The other benefit is that it uses a similar wet-grip rubber that the other Olukai’s use which will help with traction in the house or outside if need be.

Ku’i (Women’s): For people that want a warmer slipper that is just cozy then the Ku’i is an amazing way to go. What you get in the Ku’i is a comfortable footbed and a beautifully soft and warm shearling on the inside and as always a nice traction sole which will be great in the house or out and about.

Overall, we’ve been loving what Olukai has to offer and hope to show some more cool stuff from them in the future.
