We’re excited to talk about a new brand that we have picked up and to talk about the shoes we have gotten to show. As the image suggests, Kizik is a brand that offers shoes that are completely step-in. What we love about Kizik is that they are an extremely well designed shoe in that it has laces to adjust but can be set and forgotten given how well the heel-counter is designed. Which specifically either uses a external or internal cage that allows the counter to flex downwards allowing the foot to slide in and then popping right back up and holding like a regular lace-shoe. For now there are a few different styles offered from Kizik in the Canadian market but that as far as I am aware may increase by springtime. Either way, Kizik offers us something we’ve been looking for which is that non-leather easy to slip-on shoe that provides both support and comfort. For people wondering about durability, the heel counter is tested for 10,000 step

Here’s what we got:

Athens 2 (Men’s and Women’s and Kids) – the Athens is Kizik’s main athletic shoe which utilizes an external cage for the step-in ability. We have brought the Athens 2 in a few different colours for both men’s and women’s and have already had some feedback on it (Kiziks was available before but only online and shipped directly from the states which meant the price was much higher than now that is available in Canada directly.)

Vegas (Men’s and Women’s) – The Vegas is the other shoe we have started with, what’s cool about the Vegas is that it is more of a casual/street style. The Vegas has a leather upper and uses an internal cage to look like a regular casual shoe while still giving the easy step-in and comfort that Kizik’s provide.
