It’s starting to get closer to fall and feel like it (it also has been a bit since the last post with the Back to School rush.) Either way we have some exciting stuff coming down the pipeline. For those who we’ve talked to we are still getting the Kizik’s but there hasn’t been an ETA of arrival (will post when they are here.) For the brooks side of things we have gotten our second hit of shoes which is smaller than the first but has some great shoes to show.

Here’s what’s included:

Ghost Max 3 (Men’s and Women’s): The Ghost Max is a great thick-soled shoe that provides all-day comfort and an amazing heel to toe roll through their GlideRoll Rocker. For people who want a thicker shoe and love the Brooks or like the Ghost and want more cushion the Ghost Max is an amazing shoe.

Beast/Ariel 24 GTS (Men’s and Women’s): The Beast (Men’s) and Ariel (Women’s) is an amazing stability shoe that feels very traditional (not too thick, not too soft.) For people who need structure in their shoes, the Beast/Ariel are one of the last of their kind made by a running brand (similar to the New Balance 940 that was discontinued or the Saucony Hurricane which as seen some significant changes – still good but different.)

Adrenaline 24 GTS – GTX (Women’s): The Adrenaline is a great stability shoe that has a softer cushion ride and since the version 23 have also offered a waterproof version. They have improved the outsole to have more durability on both the trails and road while having more traction (as always ice is ice and hit a greasy enough patch and it can slip.)

Adrenaline 24 GTS – Weatherized (Men’s and Women’s): The Weatherized version of the Adrenaline is interesting in the fact that it isn’t water-proof but it still gets the upgraded outsole while having a warmer and slightly water-resistant upper. I’ve been wearing the men’s as my current store shoe and for walking the dogs and found them comfortable.

For now that is our Brooks, we will be having one more hit in October which will be more shoes for the trail. We have been happy with the new changes or new colours we got from Brooks and will be excited to see how things go for the spring of next year.
