Birkenstock Spring 2025

It’s Birkenstock season, I think (maybe next week.) Either way, we had some Birkenstocks left over and just got a big hit of them for the spring and summer. We are expecting some more summer colours in May but got a great selection of Birkenstocks now (I will update at the end when those come in.)

Here’s what came in:

Arizona – The Arizona is the classic two strap sandal that has been one of our best and favourite sandals from Birkenstock. We got options in narrow, regular, soft footbed, leather and Birkoflor (man-made.) Colour wise: dark brown, black, mocha, Habana

Insoles – We got more of our favourite half-length insole from Birkenstock. If you haven’t had them before it works well in a wide-variety of footwear and I personally have some for my work shoes here and swap it around with plenty of other shoes I wear.

Bend – The Bend is a leather sneaker from Birkenstock, it comes with the same traditional Birkenstock sole and has an amazing arch support insole. We picked it up in Black for both genders and white in women’s only. I did get a pair for myself and have found them very comfortable, the leather does break-in nicely and the arch feels great for my foot.

Florida – Florida is another sandal that is a three strap instead of the two strap. For people with a more narrow foot I know the Florida fits better than the Arizona (more straps to hold the foot in place) but would still work great for people that don’t have a really narrow foot. We got the Florida in Narrow or regular and colour-wise for this order brought in mocha and black.

Gizeh – Gizeh is a great toe-thong option from Birkenstock, it looks clean while still giving that same Birkenstock support, colour-wise we brought in a black leather and the Habana colour.

Mayari – Mayari is similar to the Gizeh but instead of a toe-thong it is a toe-wrap. The wrap design is much more dressy than just the toe-thong and I’ve found that in general the material is a bit softer than the post used on the Gizeh (either has work for us but for a sensitive foot either no split between the toes or the softer material has worked well.)

EVA – We brought in a collection of sandals that can take on the water, EVA or Ethylene Vinyl Acetate is the same material used in the cushion in shoes. The idea behind using EVA gives support (less than the cork but has been good) while being able to go into water, float and not be destroyed (the cork doesn’t take water well.) In the EVA material we have brought in the Arizona (two-strap) the Arizona with stealth-buckles (translucent buckles) and the Gizeh.

For those wondering about Boston, we and many others have either been limited or couldn’t get any Boston’s for inventory. As of Spring 2026 the accessibility is going to open up again (at least for us) and we did already book them in a few different colour options. We also are seeing that special ordering is becoming more accessible as well so in cases where we don’t have Birkenstocks we have a much better chance of getting it.

Update May 14, 2025

We just got our final hit of Birkenstocks until the fall. We got in some great options that veer from just the classic brown two strap Arizona. All options are except the Bend are in women’s sizing.

Here’s what is included (from left to right):

Sydney Luxe – The Sydney Luxe has a shiny strap with a larger buckle (which the big-buckle itself is trendy for this year.)

Franca – Franca is a nice option for those who like the three strap but want it to look a bit more dressed-up. It criss-crosses on the front two straps and still holds the foot as well as the Florida (where the straps are just straight across)

Arizona – We got in some more Arizona’s but in much more summer-like colours like a white or off-white (this year white in everything has been very popular.)

Gizeh Braid – We have had the Gizeh Braid in the past. What is nice about the Gizeh Braid is it looks dressier than the regular Gizeh while still being comfortable (Birkenstock uses a nice leather for the braiding which should be soft on the foot.)

Florida – We already brought in black and brown in the past but for this hit grabbed the pearl white which gives a light coloured option in the three strap (in general, three straps look a bit more dressy than the two straps.)

Bend – Finally for Men specifically we brought in a new colour in the Bend which is a very rich looking brown (Cognac.)

Overall, we are really happy with what Birkenstock has been introducing and look forward to posting about the new Birkenstocks for Fall (still won’t have Boston’s for the fall but as mentioned in the original post we have ordered them for as soon as we could possibly acquire them.)
