Olukai Spring/Summer 2025 – Shoes
The weather has started to warm up and shoes that are built for fun in the sole have shown up on our doorstep. What we love about the Olukai is it gives us options that are slip on or can drop the heel down to be worn as a slipper while having an excellent arch support and structure in the sole.
Here’s whats included (from left to right in the picture):
Mens:
Nohea Mesh – A very nice breathable shoe that leans towards a casual look.
Nohea Moku – An elasticized lace shoe that is a straight slip-on that is very comfortable and gives a casual but slightly more athletic look
Women’s:
‘Anau – Our first pickleball shoe that we’ve carried in general, the shoe isn’t a slip on and doesn’t have the drop-heel, but has very good support for the arch and sole built for the side-to-side movement. We will be doing the ‘Anau later in the year for men as well.
Kohu – A clean running style shoe with laces and the drop heel which allows for a quick on and off or to be laced and worn like a regular running shoe
Huia – We did the Huia last spring and loved it as it gives more support and gives an athletic style and for this year we brought the black and white back and brought in a nice soft pink to round out the collection. The laces are elasticized allowing for either drop-heel slip-in or a regular slip-on shoe.
Pehuea Li – We’ve had the Pehuea Li as well and found it a very nice summer shoe that leans more towards the casual side (similar idea to the Kohu just less athletic.)
Pehuea – last but not least the Pehuea which is a nice casual style and we’ve done in black and white to give an option for those who want a clean looking shoe (no laces and still support structurally and arch-wise.)
Update (March 28, 2025):
We did get some more Mens shoes, shown below. Specifically we got the ‘Anau for men, Moku Pae which is similar to the Nohea Moku but different colour and finally we got in a shoe called the ‘Ahi. What’s great about the Ahi’ is it has the drop heel and a toggle for quick adjustment, the upper is water-resistant and dries quicker by having drainage windows built into the nylon. Overall we are excited with what Olukai has to offer in both their shoes and sandals which should be here soon (April/May)
